Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey

Have your say!

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) is a nationally organised survey of all postgraduate taught students. It's your opportunity to say what you liked about your time at the University of Bath, as well as anything you feel could be improved.

Taking part

If you're an eligible student, you'll receive an email at the beginning of March with an invitation to complete the survey online. The survey finishes in June.

You will need your BUCS username and your specific PTES password (from your email invitation) to take part.

Contact us if you have lost or forgotten your password

The survey is straightforward and should take no more than 15 minutes to complete.

You and your answers stay anonymous during the survey process and your contact details won't be used for any other purpose.

What happens to your feedback

Each year, our academic departments and school work closely with student representatives from their Staff Student Liaison Committee (SSLC) to develop an action plan to improve the student experience at our institution. These action plans, to make us Better@Bath, are based on the results from students' comments in surveys such as the PTES.

If you don't respond to the survey

We value student feedback and would like to collect the views of as many participants as possible.

If you don't respond to the survey invitation, you may receive a follow-up email reminding you to take part.
