Information and library skills
Do you know how to find recommended books and articles? Are you able to find relevant information beyond your reading list? Can you verify the credibility of your references?
Using the Library's resources effectively
If you’re unsure about any of the answers to the above questions, the Information Skills Tutorial on Moodle introduces all of the information skills you’ll need at Bath.
The library also offers face-to-face training through Skills Training at the Student’s Union. These sessions could save you a lot of time over many assignments by enhancing your ability to search for articles, books and journals.
Subject librarians: Each academic department has a professionally qualified Subject Librarian who supports the information needs of its students and staff. Please do not hesitate to contact your Subject Librarian and ask them about finding resources or using services. Each has an open door policy.
