International & EU Students

International and EU students coming into the UK to study should have in place the necessary funding to cover their tuition fees and living costs for the duration of their studies. If you fall into financial hardship once you are in the UK it can be very difficult to secure additional funding after you have commenced your studies.

Students should research funding & scholarship opportunities well in advance prior to starting University and apply for any University Scholarships that may be available to them. We have produced a Guide to Funding Sources that lists some charitable organisations that provide support for study in the UK.

Undergraduate students who are from and reside in the European Union may apply for a Tuition Fee Loan from the UK government. Details and eligibility criteria can be found here.

Postgraduate students can visit the web pages of the Graduate Schools for useful links on funding sources for courses ranging from Masters to PhDs. The Gradfunding page also offers alternative funding opportunities from charities, trusts and independent bodies.
