Exchange and visiting students
We can only offer a limited number of exchange and visiting students a place in university owned accommodation subject to eligibility.
Those who cannot be housed in university residences will need to find private sector accommodation in the city.
If you are eligible for University halls of residence, please be aware of the following:
- accommodation for exchange and visiting students is normally in city centre halls of residence, not on campus
- there is a minimum letting period of one full semester which applies to all students. We regret that we will not be able to give refunds for non-residence in vacations or for early departure
- we regret that we cannot guarantee any preferences at any stage regarding your choice of room type or location
Exchange students
Eligible Exchange students who have received an offer of admission can apply for University Accommodation starting in Semester 1 (closing date 31 July). Students should have been informed by the Study Abroad Office if they are eligible for University Accommodation.
If you wish to check your eligibility please contact Catherine Mawdsley - C.Mawdsley@bath.ac.uk
