How to apply
Applications for guaranteed accommodation are currently closed.
We hope to re-open applications on a waiting list basis for overseas postgraduates from week commencing 19 August. Further information will be available on this date.
Overseas students
We guarantee a room in University managed accommodation to new eligible overseas postgraduates as long as we receive an application by our guarantee deadline of 1 July 2013.
- we send out rooms allocation details in August and early September.
- when you accept your accommodation contract, you need to pay £400, this will be deducted from your rent for September to January.
UK and EU postgraduates
We are unable to guarantee university accommodation for UK and EU postgraduates. You can apply to go on a waiting list but we are unlikely to have any news on availability until August.
With this in mind you may wish to look for private sector accommodation.
When will you hear from us
Room allocations take place during August and early September, this is an incredibly busy time for us.
Our aim is to contact all those eligible students who applied by the guarantee date with room allocation details by 9 September. All communication will be by email. If you have not heard by 9 September please contact us.
