University managed housing

We offer accommodation in Bath in privately owned properties managed by the University. This accommodation offers the experience of living in a private property in the city without the need to deal with landlords and utility companies.

These properties are ideal for overseas postgraduate students, they have a smaller number of bedrooms with social living space and most have gardens and regular bus services link to the University.

You can nominate any specific friends with whom you would like to live on the online application form. We will send you full details of the location and specific contract details for each property once we have allocated you a room.

Room types

There are three main room types available:

  • standard - £108 per week
  • standard large - £120 per week
  • Unite studios - £208.79 per week

We do our best to maintain the accuracy of the prices and information on this webpage. All content is for general informational purposes only and is subject to change at any time.

Contract length

The standard contract for the majority of postgraduates living in University managed housing will be from 21 September 2013 to 5 September 2014. However, Unite studio contracts will run from 21 September 2013 to 13 September 2014

Accommodation standards

Every property has been inspected by the University and is accredited by the city council. We manage the properties while you live there, including ensuring safety standards are met and maintenance is carried out. The rent also includes all utilities, broadband internet access and core possessions' insurance. Further details can be found in our Managed Housing booklet.

Dedicated university staff make regular visits to check you’re happy with everything and to support you with any welfare needs.
