How to apply

You can apply for most programmes using our online application system. Please read the guidelines to ensure your application is completed correctly.

 

When can I apply?

Taught programmes

Research programmes

We recommend that you seek advice on the most appropriate time for you to begin your research programme.

 
  1. Step 1

    Find a research or taught programme that you are interested in

  2. Step 2

    Discuss your research proposal with the department

    If you are applying for a research programme, you should contact the relevant department before submitting an application to discuss your proposed area of research. You can find specific contact information by browsing the programmes we offer.

  3. Step 3

    Apply online

    Research applicants will need to:

    • follow instructions on how to upload supporting documents which will include the results of your English language assessment if applicable, your completed degree certificate or transcript if you have not completed your degree yet and at least one academic reference
    • give as much information as possible in your application form
    • include at least an outline of your research proposal
    • give an indication of how you plan to fund your studies.

    Taught programmes:

    You can apply online for most of our taught programmes. There is a different application procedure for the MBA  taught programmes.

    • follow instructions on how to upload supporting documents which will include the results of your English language assessment if applicable, your completed degree certificate or transcript if you have not completed your degree yet and at least one academic reference
    • give as much information as possible in your application form
    • Some departments may require additional information. They will contact you if necessary.
  4. Step 4

    Keep track of your application

    You will be able to follow the progress of your application using Application Tracker. Once you have completed the online form, we will provide you with a username and password which will enable you to access Application Tracker. Please make sure you check this regularly.

    If your programme is not yet on Application Tracker, you will receive correspondence from the department responsible for your programme of study.
