Study

Fee status

If we offer you a place, we will decide whether you are a UK/EU or overseas student for fees purposes. We will then be in a position to give you more detailed information on the costs of your programme of study.  Find out how we determine tuition fee status.

UK and European Union students

We will set fee levels later in the year, once the government has determined the fee levels for 2011.

UK Government funding for UK and EU students

Currently, most UK and EU students are eligible for a full fee loan, and repayment is deferred until after graduation.

International students

If your fee status is overseas, you will not be able to apply for a student loan. You must make sure you can cover all your living expenses for each year of study. If you need further advice, contact Student Information & Funding or the International Office.

We want to make sure that your studies are not unnecessarily disrupted, and may therefore ask you for advance written evidence that you, your family or sponsor can pay the tuition fees. You must ensure that you have sufficient resources to cover tuition as well as living expenses before you accept any offer we make to you.

Fees are reduced during placement periods.  The level of fee will depend on the length of your placement and what it involves.
