Scholarships
We offer a range of scholarships supported by the University and generous donors who share our pride in student achievement.
Most scholarships can be applied for using the online scholarships application form, however some require a direct application to the faculty. Please check the details of each scholarship below for information on how to apply.
Applying using the online scholarships application form
- you need to have firmly accepted either a conditional or an unconditional offer of a place on your taught masters programme before you can apply for a scholarship online
- the closing date is noon on Friday 28 June 2013. We only start to award the scholarships after the closing date has passed
- we will notify all applicants of our decision by Monday 29 July 2013
- make sure you read the guidance information and notes on completing the form before you start your application.

There are 75 scholarships worth £3,000 each in the University of Bath International Scholarships Scheme (UoBISS). These are for international fee-paying taught masters applicants from any country and for any subject area.
Faculty of Engineering and Design Elite MSc Scholarships »

There are 20 Faculty of Engineering and Design Elite MSc Scholarships each worth £2,000 for international fee-paying taught masters applicants from any country for MSc programmes in Engineering.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Graduate School Scholarships »

There are 9 Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences scholarships each worth £2,000 for international fee-paying taught masters applicants from any country for MA/MSc programmes in Humanities and Social Sciences.

The Frank Wallace Scholarship »
Automotive Engineering | China | Postgraduate taught
The Frank Wallace Scholarship is worth £2,500 and is open to an international fee-paying taught masters applicant in the People’s Republic of China. It is only available for MSc Automotive Engineering.
The scholarship is named after Professor Frank Wallace, a pioneer in diesel engine turbocharging research, and awarded on behalf of his family.
Sir Jack Cater Scholarship »

The Sir Jack Cater Scholarship is worth £3,000 and is only open to an international fee-paying taught masters applicant who is a graduate of Hong Kong University. It is available for any subject area.
Santander Masters Scholarships for students in Latin America »

There are 6 Santander Masters Scholarships each worth £5,300 for international fee-paying taught masters applicants for any subject area.
Students must be a graduate of a univerisity in the Santander network in one of the following countries:
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Chile

- Mexico
- Puerto Rico
- Uruguay

The 2 USA Alumni Fund Scholarships are each worth the equivalent of $5,500 and are open to all international fee-paying post-graduate applicants in the USA who have graduated from a US university.
This scholarship is currently subject to final approval.
