Qualifications and duration

  • Full-time MSc, 1 year


The MSc Marketing is designed to build on previous knowledge of marketing, gained either through undergraduate studies or previous work experience. The programme:

  • draws on the research interests of the marketing faculty and addresses the three core elements of marketing today: Marketing to Consumers; Marketing to Businesses and Organisations; and Marketing and Society
  • deepens and advances understanding of core marketing theories and concepts
  • balances theory with practical application
  • systematically develops key business skills including group working, project management and presentation skills
  • leverages the expertise of nationally and internationally recognised faculty.

Entry requirements

A good degree (2:1 or above or its international equivalent) with significant business/ management content including marketing. This programme is open to graduates who currently have little or no business experience.

Please note a £60 application fee is required for this programme and this should be submitted with your application.

English Language

Candidates whose first language is not English will normally require a minimum IELTS score of 7.0 with no less than 6.5 in each of the four components.
