On Track to Bath
On Track to Bath is a sustained programme of activities for A Level students designed to support entry to the University of Bath or other selective universities. On Track is a targeted programme specifically for those groups under-represented in Higher Education. We have three subject areas for 2013/14:
- science
- social sciences
- computer science.
Students participate in a programme of activities throughout Years 12 and 13. These include a launch event with parents, carers and teachers, a residential, an academic project, curriculum enhancement master classes, student finance, budgeting and how to make a successful application.
UNet Universities Partnership
UNet is a collaborative partnership between the universities of Bath, Cardiff, Oxford, Reading and Southampton.
UNet provides sixth-formers in-depth information about the universities and courses in our region as well as offering academic support to improve their grades.
All On Track activities are recognised by UNet.

Academic project
The On Track to Bath academic project is designed to develop essential skills and practices relevant to university study. Delivered through an intensive three-day programme at the University of Bath the project will enhance students' subject specific knowledge and independent learning and research skills.
The project could provide the basis for students wanting to go on and take the Extended Project AS Level.
