How to pay
There are several ways to pay for your accommodation fees. We prefer students to pay in three instalments via Direct Debit.
It is also possible to pay in instalments using the different methods below. Some students decide to pay the entire year’s accommodation fees when they accept the accommodation contract.
If you wish to pay your accommodation fees by Direct Debit, you can enter the details of your UK bank account on the secure screen when you accept your contract online, or send the paper mandate and acceptance by post to the Accommodation Finance Office.
- Payment by Direct Debit is in three instalments without any additional charges.
- Direct Debits can only be accepted from UK bank accounts.
- The collection dates will be stated on the online accommodation contract and paper mandate form.
Failed Direct Debits
If you have arranged to pay by Direct Debit and the collection fails, the University will levy a Failed Direct Debit charge of £20.00.
