When you get an offer
Congratulations on your offer - we hope you make the University of Bath your first choice.
Types of offer
When you receive an offer letter you should check whether your offer is conditional or unconditional.
- an unconditional offer means that you have a place to study here
- a conditional offer means that you need to meet some conditions before we can confirm your place.
There is more information about offers on UCAS Track.
Conditional offer
If you receive a conditional offer check the conditions carefully. You may need, for example:
- to achieve certain grades in your exams
- to upload certificates of your qualifications
- to meet an English language requirement.
Please contact us if you don't understand any of the conditions of your offer.
Providing copies of certificates
If your offer includes qualifications you have already achieved, and that have been certificated, you should upload the certificates to Application Tracker.
If you're not sure if your result has been certificated please check with your school or college examinations officer before uploading anything.
We will acknowledge any certificates you send us but we may not change your offer at this stage.
Once you have met all the conditions of your offer, your place will be confirmed.
Unconditional offer
If you are considering the University of Bath as your first choice, look at our information about what to do before Arrivals Weekend and Freshers' Week.
Standard terms and conditions of your offer
The standard terms and conditions of your offer are a legal agreement between you and the University of Bath which set out your rights and responsibilities.
Replying to your offer
Once you have heard from all your choices, you need to decide which offers to accept as your firm choice (F) and insurance choice (I). You then reply to your offers through UCAS Track.
From early summer onwards you will start to receive further information from us and we will email you with regular updates.
