Student loans and grants
UK and EU students
Eligible students can apply for help towards their studies at university in the form of loans and grants from the UK government. These are:
- tuition fee loans (UK and EU students)
- maintenance loans and grants (UK students only).

Overseas students
If your fee status is overseas, you will not be able to apply for a student loan or grant from the UK government. You must ensure that you have sufficient resources to cover your tuition and living expenses.
