Income related scholarships
You will be automatically considered for these scholarships based on your household income, academic achievements and other relevant eligibility criteria.
We will ask you to provide a supporting statement via the Bath Applicant Tracker during May.
Please refer to the 2013/14 funding timeline to see when you will receive information about these scholarships.
Eligibility criteria
- you are a full-time UK* student
- your student finance household income assessment is at, or below £42,611
- you have entry grades of AAB at A Level or equivalent
- you do not already hold an honours degree
- you are not in receipt of a University of Bath fee waiver, bursary, National Scholarship Programme or other University of Bath scholarship.
As part of our shortlisting process we may also take into account information if:
- your home is in a neighbourhood with low participation in higher education
- your school/college performance is below average (as supplied by UCAS)
- you are a care leaver
- you or your family receive a state means-tested benefit
However, meeting one of the criteria above is not essential to be selected for a scholarship.
*Eligible students must be classed as UK (England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland) as assessed for student support purposes, as determined by Student Finance England or other UK student loans awarding agency.
Further scholarships may be made available before the start of the academic year.
Alumni Fund Scholarships »
Any subject area | Undergraduate
£3,000 per academic year except placement years.

The Roper Scholarships »
Any subject area | Undergraduate
£1,000 per academic year except placement years.
You must not have attended a fee paying school prior to entering University, unless on a full or partial scholarship or bursary.

£3,000 per academic year except placement years.
Eligibility criteria
- You must be undertaking a degree in a STEM subject (Science, Technology Engineering and Maths).

Faculty of Science | Undergraduate
£3,000 per academic year except placement years.
Eligibility criteria
- You must be studying for an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science which includes a placement year.

- You must be studying on the BSc Business Administration programme.
