June Open Day programme
Printed programmes will be available on the day. You can pick one up from a Student Ambassador at a Welcome Point or the Information Fair.
Look out for one of our Student Ambassadors - wearing red t-shirts - who will welcome you and help you get your bearings.
It’s a great opportunity to pick up information and ask questions.
On the day
Information Points are located in the West and East Car Parks and on the Parade. Although times are set for talks you have booked to attend, the rest of the day is yours to structure as you like.
During Open Day, travel to and from the campus by car causes long delays due to congestion. We recommend that you travel by public transport or think about staying overnight. Find out more about getting here.
The Information Fair is one of the most important parts of the day. You will be able to meet academic and admissions staff from every department and representatives from the University support services.
It's a good opportunity to ask questions about your chosen subject, or about life on campus, fees or funding.
General talks from Recruitment & Admissions and Student Services, run throughout the day, you must book to attend these talks.
You can also watch the Choosing Bath talk online.
Each department will be giving talks on the programmes they offer.
Student accommodation viewing
A selection of bedrooms will be open for you to view. Student Ambassadors will answer questions from a student perspective.
Visit the Accommodation stand at the Information Fair for questions concerning room allocations and costs.
The Students' Union will be holding talks throughout the day to give you an insight into student life. Students' Union societies put on demonstrations around campus, allowing you to get a taste of the wide range of activities available.
Sports facilities tours
Guided tours of the Sports Training Village will run every 30 minutes on a drop-in basis from the TeamBath stand at the Information Fair - no need to book.
Guided tours of the Library will run regularly - you do not need to book to attend. However, if you would like to take a look around by yourself then you can use the library self-guided tour.
Parents, family and friends
We offer information sessions for parents or guardians covering support services, student safety, accommodation and living costs.
Parents and friends who studied at Bath are invited to visit the Alumni Relations stand at the Information Fair.
