Information Fair
It’s a great opportunity to pick up information, ask questions and meet staff from academia, admissions and support services.
On the day
Arrival
During Open Day, travel to and from the campus by car causes long delays due to congestion. We recommend using public transport or considering staying overnight. Find out more about getting here.
When you arrive you will find Welcome Points in the West and East Car Parks.
Look out for our ambassadors in red T-shirts, who will welcome you and help you find your way around.
Main events
Although times are set for talks you have booked to attend, the rest of the day is yours to structure as you like.
Information Fair (9.30am - 4pm)
Your first stop on the Open Day should be the Information Fair where you can meet academic and admissions staff from every department.
Staff from University support services such as accommodation and student services will also be there to answer your questions.
Talks and events
If you have booked to attend general talks or department events you should arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time.
You can also watch the Choosing Bath talk online.
Student accommodation viewing (9.15am - 4pm)
During the day you can drop in to view a selection of bedrooms in our student accommodation. Student Ambassadors will answer questions from a student perspective.
Visit the Accommodation stand at the Information Fair to find out more about room allocations and costs.
Students' Union
Get an insight into student life with talks held throughout the day by the Students' Union. You can also see demonstrations around campus put on by Students' Union societies, allowing you to get a taste of the wide range of activities available.
Sports facilities tours
Catch a guided tour of the Sports Training Village, which will run every 30 minutes on a drop-in basis from the STV entrance - no need to book.
Library tours
Explore the Library with one of the regular guided tours - you do not need to book to attend. However, if you would like to take a look around by yourself then you can use the library self-guided tour.
