Admissions process
Admissions statement
Once you have sent your application to UCAS, your form will be considered by the Pharmacy admissions team. Each application is given individual consideration, paying particular attention to the subjects studied, the reference and the personal statement. Factors such as academic achievement, and potential, your skills and aptitudes and your motivation and commitment will all be considered.
Applications received before the UCAS deadline of 15 January 2012 will be given equal consideration. Applications received after this date may be considered if there are still places available; however, as the number of applications per place can be very high, we strongly advise you to apply as early as possible.
The majority of applicants will be invited to an interview, following this a decision will be made on whether to make you an offer as soon as possible, you will be notified of this decision through UCAS.
Deferred entry
The Department views gap years positively and we are happy to consider applicants who are asking for deferred entry.

Interviews
All applicants will normally be invited to attend an interview with a member of academic staff.
