Placements and careers

Placements

Our degrees can be studied over four years, with the third year spent on placement.

Placements are a fantastic opportunity to use the theory you have learnt in a practical context. Our students are frequently offered permanent graduate jobs by their placement providers.

You can take placements in commercial, voluntary or government organisations, or in a research setting. Placements may be paid or unpaid.

Applications for placement can be very competitive and it is your responsibility to secure the position, but at all times you will be supported by our placements team.
