On campus you will find a number of venues to get food and drink and meet with friends. From cafés to restaurants to quick stop coffee shops, we hope you will find a place to cater for your needs.
We have a strong commitment to green issues and cutting our carbon footprint. The University and the Students Union are both committed to Fair Trade.
4W Café
Located off the main parade, 4West Café offers a variety of Fairtrade teas, coffees, fruit juices and cold drinks. You can also choose from a range of sandwiches, salads, paninis, toasties, cakes and muffins.
Claverton Rooms
The Claverton Rooms has a restaurant, delicatessen and bar exclusively for staff, postgraduates and visitors. You will find a great view over campus, with fresh food served daily including a comprehensive vegetarian menu.
Costa Coffee
Located on Level 2 of the Student Centre, Costa Coffee serves the perfect cup of coffee. As for the blend itself, that's a closely guarded secret, but here you can enjoy a cup of its distinctive flavour and a warm welcome.
Fountain Canteen
Fountain Canteen has an international food court creating dishes from around the globe. Situated next to the University Hall, you can take a break from your studies to try menus from the Americas, Asia and Europe.
Parade Bar
The Parade Bar offers food in a contemporary bar setting, making it the ideal place to meet friends. Call by and visit our bar off the main parade for a range of bar food - burgers, jacket potatoes and salads.
The Pitstop
Located in the Student Centre, the Pitstop is a fresh sandwich bar that serves baguettes, sandwiches, wraps and jacket potatoes all with a large choice of fillings. Breakfast sandwiches are also served every morning.
The Plug Bar
On level 3 of the Student Centre you will find the Plug Bar serving Stone Willy's pizza and Illy coffee. There is a regular quiz night, music events and live sport making it a great place to socialise, eat and drink.
Proper Pasty
The Proper Pasty outlet can be found on Level 2 of the Student Centre. Serving authentic Cornish pasties that are baked fresh every day using locally sourced ingredients and using traditional hand crimping to finish.
Sports Café
Sports Café is a fantastic healthy eating café inside the Sports Training Village. Choose from healthy cooked breakfast, jacket potatoes, salads, fresh filled pastas and home-made sauces or hand made sandwiches, paninis and toasties.
Wessex Restaurant
The stylish Wessex Restaurant serves first class food for lunches, business meetings or conferences. Located on level 2 of Wessex House we provide a seasonal à la carte menu and extensive wine list.
