We are here to represent your views and needs to the University, local community and on a national scale - as well as making sure you have fun whilst you are here!
Advice and Representation
The Advice and Representation Centre Provides confidential and non-judgmental support, representation and advice.
In partnership with the University, we have Academic and Faculty Representatives who can raise issues and suggestions on how your course or academic experience can be improved.
Bars & Entertainment
The Students' Union runs all your entertainment including the Summer Ball, Freshers’ Week and The Plug & The Tub events.

Helps you find part-time or temporary work on campus and in the local area.
Skills Training
Improves your skills and employability through bespoke training workshops.
Societies and Media
We offer you over 80 societies and three student media groups for you to join at any time.
Sport
Delivers a wide range of competitive and recreational sporting activities including over 40 sports clubs.
Volunteering
The Volunteer Centre gives you hundreds volunteering opportunities to match your interests and time commitments.
Peer Support and Mentoring
Peer support offers academic and practical support and sessions through student mentors
