Living

Money

This might be one of the biggest worries you face as a student, but it certainly isn't something that you need to face alone and without help.

We can show you ways to help fund your studies, plan your budget and find part-time work while studying here.

Accommodation

We offer guaranteed accommodation to all eligible first year students.

For those who decide to live off campus, we offer help to find you a place to live, with house hunting weekends from the Housing Advice team in the Students' Union.

These sessions are also a great way to meet potential housemates.

Resident Tutors

If you live in University accommodation, our Resident Tutors provide pastoral care and support.

They help create a welcoming living environment and organise a range of social activities.

Each block also has a housekeeping team who oversee the day-to-day running of the residence and deal with practical issues.

Visa/Immigration Advice

You can get help with your visa application, the points-based system and other immigration matters from the International Student Advice Team.
