The Sulis Seedcorn Fund was established in by the Universities of Bath and Bristol in 1999 as a University Challenge Fund and was expanded in 2002 to bring The University of Southampton into the Partnership, also expanding the Fund from £5M to £9M. During its life the Fund achieved the following;

Total funds invested; £7.61 Million

Portfolio value; £9.15 Million

Cash realised: £2.57 Million

Funds raised from 3rd Parties by portfolio companies; c. £84 Million

Number of people currently employed by portfolio companies; 226
