Did you know that the University run three assisted purchase schemes? They may be of assistance during the credit crunch!

Public Transport Season Ticket Scheme
The University provides interest free loans to employees who live within a 25 mile radius of the campus for season tickets. For further details please click on this link www.bath.ac.uk/transport/seasonticket

Tax Free Cycle Purchase
Staff can purchase bicycles and approved accessories free from income tax and national insurance contributions. The saving is 33 per cent for basic rate tax payers and more for those on higher rates. Motorcycle Loan Purchase Scheme
Staff can apply for an interest free loan towards the purchase of a motorcycle and safety equipment up to a maximum of £1,000. Deductions will be made directly from salaries in 24 monthly instalments. For further details please click on this link www.bath.ac.uk/internal/smug/loanscheme
