Green Transport Plan

The current Green Transport Plan was produced as a base document for the Claverton Down campus Masterplan, adopted both by the University and by Bath and North East Somerset Council in March 2001. However, given the pace of change and the forthcoming review of the Bath and North East Somerset Local Plan, key elements of the Masterplan have been re-visited over the Summer of 2004.

Consultation on this exercise currently continues. Once the University has finalised its thoughts on the capacity of the Claverton Down campus and the likely requirements for additional accommodation over the next five years and beyond, the Green Transport Plan will itself need to be revisited. The University needs to satisfy itself that the measures outlined in 2001 are still current for future development and if not, further proposals will be introduced following consultation with the University community.
