Notice of Meeting

All You Need to Know About the State of Health of Your Pension Fund

An open meeting will be held on
Wednesday 25th June 2003,
at Noon in 4East 2.56.

Mr Robert Bane, University's Pension Officer and Mr Alan Thornell of the Avon Pension Fund will update members on the current state of the fund and any future changes that may or may not effect its members. They will talk about the different ways in which different types of pension schemes are funded, what is the purpose of the tri-annual valuation, the latest valuation and it's consequences. They can then take questions on this subject or anything that is general to the running of the scheme. They cannot deal with individual's own circumstances, these can be addressed at the pension surgery on July 24th.

All Stakeholders are welcome to attend.
