Gregory's research interests concern the influence of social institutions and social structures on the shape of organizations. The context of the research is international and comparative, and the overarching objective is to advance conceptually and empirically rigorous examination of the above themes with a view to understanding the antecedents of institutional and organisational change.
Greg's work has appeared in Human Relations, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Work, Employment and Society, Industrial Relations Journal, and Europe-Asia Studies. He is a member of the editorial board of Work, Employment and Society, has guest-edited a special issue of International Journal of Human Resource Management, and regularly reviews submissions to the leading journals in his field.
