Juani is a lecturer in HRM and specializes in Knowledge management and the mangement of Knowledge Workers. She teaches on various post graduate and undergraduate courses (specialising in HRM and knowledge management)and delivers an MBA elective on Knowledge Management. Juani completed her PhD on the relationship between self awareness and collective tacit knowledge in 2000. Her other research projects have focused on knowledge intensive firms, professional identity and the interpretation of organizational change.
She is a registered Organizational/Industrial Psychologist and prior to her arrival in Bath in October 1997, acted in the capacity of Human Resource Consultant. She has expertise and has consulted to blue chip and SMEs in the following areas; organizational change, remuneration, management development, affirmative action and high performance work practices.
Currently she is conducting research into the management of knowledge in Professional Services Firms sponsored by the CIPD in collaboration with Cornell University. This research aims to understand the transfer of human capital into intellectual capital, thereby linking the intellectual capital, HRM and Performance debates.
