Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Industrial Relations.
Peter has a long term research background in employee involvement at both a British and European level. He has been a rapporteur on European projects involving the introduction of new technology and the role of worker participation.
He also has undertaken extensive research in industrial relations in the banking industry. Current research interests include documenting the introduction of European Works Councils. He is presently the scientific coordinator of an European Union multi-country study of the role of social partnership in the development of human resources. He is on the editorial board of Work, Employment and Society.
