The WHO Field Centre for the Study of Quality of Life is an international research centre based at the University of Bath.
What does quality of life mean to you?
Is there universal agreement about its meaning, or is it culturally defined?
Can you measure it, and if so, what is the best way to do this?
Is it a single idea or concept, and if not, do people agree about which dimensions of quality of life are important?
These and many other questions have become the basis for over a decade of research on the WHOQOL project carried
out in the WHO Centre for the Study of Quality of Life at University of Bath, through a collaboration set up by the World Health Organisation,
Geneva (Division of Mental Health).
