Understanding the environment and conditions that promote
or impede the diffusion of innovation
The study of unsuccessful (or failed) innovations
Specific areas of expertise
involve:-
- The integration of health and social care
- Being innovative in ’risk-capped’ areas such as child
protection
- The role of evaluation in the diffusion of
innovation
- User and carer participation in evaluation of
innovative practice in social care
