   Innovation in social care and other areas of the public sector

             

   Evaluating innovative forms of service delivery in health, education and social care

 

   Understanding the environment and conditions that promote or impede the diffusion of innovation

 

   The study of unsuccessful (or failed) innovations

 

Specific areas of expertise involve:-

 

          - The integration of health and social care

          - Being innovative in ’risk-capped’ areas such as child protection

         - The role of evaluation in the diffusion of innovation

         - User and carer participation in evaluation of innovative practice in social care
