Springer SUMS series

Springer-Verlag are launching a new series of undergraduate texts called the SUMS series. Astonishingly enough, GROUP PUB FORUM members are authors of three of the first six texts in the series: Dave (Brother) Johnson, Edmund Robertson and Geoff Smith. These books are yellow and cheap.

Why encourage your students to read worthless books by complete strangers, when you can insist they read worthless books by your fellow group theorists?

As well as telling your local University bookshop to get 100 of each, you may wish to invite your students to order their copies directly from Springer (or Springer USA). If lecturers want inspection copies, they should contact sam@svl.co.uk and she'll be happy to send them out.
