Domestic Arrangements

Residences: Accommodation for conferees will be in Westwood, close to the Residential Services office.

Parking: Free parking will be available in Car Park H (near our lecture theatre). You must display a permit, which you you should obtain in advance by sending your name and return postal address to Geoff Smith.

Meals: Meals will be in Choices Restaurant in building 2W. Please wear your conference badge to gain admission. On Sunday September 3rd a buffet supper will be available until 7 p.m.. If you arrive after that time and have not eaten, then you will need to visit Bath to purchase a meal in a pub or restaurant, or to visit a take-away. There is a bus service between campus and the city centre. The journey time is about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you may wish to bring your own food to eat in your residence.

Bar The Parade Bar normally opens at 7 pm. This is in building 2W.

Smoking Smoking is not permitted in the University buildings (except residences). There is a smoking area in the bar.

Library You may use the University Library if wearing your conference badge. There are a very large number of terminals in the library and there you may access the internet and telnet to other machines in order to read your e-mail.
