The Godfrey and Sue Hall Postgraduate Research Student Prize is an annual award for the best postgraduate research student. At this event, the five finalists of this year's prize will present their research in front of a panel of judges who will decide on the winner in a 30-minute recess, before announcing the winner to the audience.
This year's finalists are:

Rachel Lees, Psychology ‘Cannabis use disorder: what is it and what can we do about it?’
Robin Jones, Physics ‘Chiral Metasurfaces and the Colourful Handshake: The Discovery of Chiroptical Hyper Raman Scattering’
Ella McLoughlin, Health ‘Lifetime Stressor Exposure, Health, Well-Being and Performance’
