Applications are now open for this year's Alumni Fund grants. The deadline is 12 February 2021 and this will be the only round of funding this year.
There are 14 grants available: nine x £5,000, and five x £1,000.
Applications are welcomed from all current staff and students at the University of Bath and the Panel encourage applications that will benefit the University or wider community.
Past successful applications include a gardening scheme to support students’ mental health and well-being, and funding for a robot designed for early breast cancer diagnosis.
If you are interested in applying on behalf of a Students' Union club or society, you must apply to the SU directly.
Funding for Engineering competition teams will now be overseen by the Dean of the Faculty. Information will be sent to the teams directly.
Before you apply, we recommend that you attend an Information Session with a colleague in Development & Alumni Relations, who can provide guidance on your application. Information Sessions will be held on the following dates:
- Weds 13 Jan 2021, 9.30am – 10.30am
- Tues 19 Jan 2021, 3pm – 4pm
- Weds 27 Jan 2021, 9.30am – 10.30am

Twice a year, our student fundraisers speak with alumni about studying at Bath, and gain valuable advice from alumni on entering the world of work after they graduate.
The donations made to the Alumni Fund through our student calling campaigns provide grants, which support innovative research and teaching projects, student inclusion and enrich life on campus.
