Lateral flow diagnostic (LFD) tests are for people who do not have symptoms of Covid-19. Find out more about rapid lateral flow tests on the Gov.uk website.
Students without symptoms should get an LFD test:
- before travelling to Bath
- on arrival in Bath. You should take two LFD tests three to four days apart, at either an on-site facility or via home testing
- twice weekly from then onwards.
We have a site providing supervised testing, for students, when you arrive in Bath for the start of semester. We also have distribution points for home testing kits, which will be available throughout the semester.
Asymptomatic testing site – supervised service
We are providing supervised testing on campus, during the arrival period, welcome week and the first week of term. The testing site will operate on a walk-in basis, so you don't need to book a time slot for testing.
|Polden Learning Commons||23 Sept – 1 Oct / 4 – 8 Oct||10am - 2pm|
The Polden Learning Commons is on the ground floor of block C of Polden, between 10 West and Polden Court.
If you take a supervised test you'll currently receive a £2.50 voucher that can be spent in the cafes on campus and in the Lime Tree bar.
Collect service – distribution of home testing kits
All students and staff can pick up home testing kits in boxes of seven at the following locations:
- at the supervised testing sites
- at the Sports Training Village reception
- the Virgil Building reception
- the West Accommodation Centre reception
- the Student Finance Office
For new students in University accommodation, one box of seven test kits will be placed in the welcome pack.
Instructions on how to take a lateral flow test are available on the NHS website.
