We are welcoming submissions from our community of researchers as part of Black History Month, showcasing research from our Black community, the first of its kind at the University of Bath.

This event is designed to showcase talent within our community and will be a great opportunity to share your work with the wider community of staff and students.

We are welcoming submissions in two categories:

  • Projects by Black researchers – impactful publications (e.g. journals and policy documents) by black staff and students.
  • Projects on the Black experience – impactful projects led by black staff and students related to the black experience.

We are accepting submissions in two formats:

  • Picture poster (we pay for printing and will offer advice on content)
  • Encounter (e.g. videos, activities, games)

Apply to be a part of the showcase here. Deadline for applications is 20 September 2024.

The event showcasing this work will be in The Edge on 15 October 1-3pm and will be open to all university staff and students.

Please do get in touch via diversity@bath.ac.uk if you would like more information on the event or guidance on your choice of format.
