What’s it like to live and work in France or Germany? What’s the economic situation in those countries? And how have they responded to the Corona pandemic?

If you’re keen to find out more about life in France or Germany and want to develop your language skills and intercultural awareness, the Skills Centre is running three short online courses this June:

  • French: elementary/lower intermediate
  • French: intermediate/advanced
  • German: intermediate

Who can take part?

These 10-day courses are aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students of any discipline with a focus on language in the workplace to enhance employability as you consider your future career options or prepare to enter the world of work.

They’re ideal for those graduating this summer or placement students who are unable to travel abroad during the current Coronavirus pandemic.

University of Bath staff members and members of the public will also find the course content useful and interesting and are welcome to take part.

What’s involved?

The courses will require a minimum of 2-3 hours study per day. Follow the link below to find out more about the course dates, learning objectives, teaching methods and language level required.
