Business Objects is continuing to experience problems following an upgrade. The problem has been reported to SAP in the US.
Providing users are refreshing queries, rather than creating new queries or modifying existing queries, then the service is operating normally. However, creating new queries or modifying an existing query, often causes the user session to hang.
For the next few days Digital Data and Technology will do no further work on the service, to allow users to use what should be a reliable service with the above constraints.
DDaT will be agreeing a date later next month with senior users, to do further work on the service, once further guidance has been received from SAP.
