Designability

Designability was established in 1968 as the Bath Institute of Medical Engineering by the University and the Royal United Hospital. It is a design and development charity working to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and long-term health conditions. Designability is a national charity, but key local partners include the University of Bath, the University of the West of England, the West of England Academic Health Science Network and the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

The University has two trustees on the Board with one position currently vacant.
