As part of the UKRIs Creating Opportunities through Local Innovation Fellowships (COLIF) pilot, the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, Exeter, Oxford, Southampton and Swansea are collaborating to address local inequalities by creating fellowships that combine academic research and evaluation with civic insights and experience.
The Universities will be bringing together two teams of academic and HE professional services colleagues who will design and deliver fellowships that respond to productivity and employment challenges in our region.
The civic partners and challenges have been identified and we are now looking to appoint the team members to lead and deliver the projects. The teams will be tasked with identifying and developing policy or solution-led interventions that address these challenges.
The Opportunities Fellowships are intended to last for around four months, from April to July 2025. Flexible outgoing placements (physical and/or virtual) will be responsive to local needs and will support inclusion, equity, and wellbeing of team members.
Closing date: 18 October 2024
