New campus location

Careers has moved! We are now based on campus in Wessex House 2.24 next to the Fresh shop. Come and visit our new Careers Centre. Staffed by our team of friendly professionals, you can visit us between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

What's changed

We have introduced a few changes to our service this year to make sure we are more available and responsive. We are encouraging you to make use of our Careers Helpdesk drop-in service in the first instance, to get immediate advice rather than booking an appointment. To access the Helpdesk drop-in service you can:

  • Visit us in person in our new space on campus - open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

  • Call us on 01225 386009.


You will also be able to book appointments through MyFuture. Just remember that many queries can be answered through our Careers Helpdesk, meaning you are likely to be seen the same day – rather than waiting for an appointment to become available.

We have introduced a limit on bookable appointments as we want you to develop your career confidence and feel equipped to take action and move forward with your planning. You will be able to book up to four appointments each semester. Alongside support from the Careers Helpdesk, this should provide good support whatever stage you find yourself in.

Some students will have additional barriers or challenges and where necessary we will operate a more flexible policy.
