The Careers Service has updated its range of appointments and booking policy.
If you have used our appointments before, you can still expect excellent, impartial and confidential advice. However you will see that our appointments now have different names and the way you book may have changed.
Our quick query appointments have been retired and replaced with Careers Appointments. We have increased the length of these to 20 minutes to give you more time to talk through your questions with an Adviser.
Booking the day before
You told us that you would prefer to be able to book appointments a bit more in advance, rather than on the day. We have changed our bookings so that you can now book a Careers Appointment from 8am the day before you wish to see an Adviser.
As well as 20 minute appointments, we will still be offering longer guidance appointments. However guidance appointments can now only be booked by referral from an Adviser. So if you want advice, your first step is to book a 20 minute Careers appointment.
The new appointment policy should mean students are able to see us for advice and support more quickly.

Dedicated CV and application advice
We are now able to offer more CV and application advice appointments. This means you can book to get your CV, cover letter or application checked every weekday.
Appointments when you are away from Bath
More of our appointments can now be done via Skype or telephone. So if you are away from Bath on placement or graduated and moved on, you should be able to speak to an Adviser more quickly than before.
Questions and feedback
We hope you find that our new appointments work better for you. If you have any questions or feedback, get in touch.
