Our Rolls of Honour are a lasting record of those who have made exceptional gifts to the University.

On 10 December 2018, long-standing friends of the University, Godfrey and Sue Hall, became the newest names in the Vice-Chancellor’s Roll of Honour, in the presence of the Chancellor, HRH the Earl of Wessex, and Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bernie Morley.

Godfrey and Sue are some of our most generous benefactors, donating £50,000 to support students from Commonwealth countries undertaking the Commonwealth Shared Scholarships.

Three current Commonwealth Scholars – Zaria Adama, Ruth Ilesanmi and Moses Ochengo – greeted Godfrey and Sue on the evening, thanked them personally for their support and talked about their experiences of studying here at Bath.

Honorary graduate Professor Peter Katjavivi and his wife, Jane, Professor Veronica Hope Hailey, Professor Richard Mawditt and his daughter, Sally, Dr Roy Maconachie, and Charlie Parkin and Molly Southwood from the Department of Development & Alumni Relations were also in attendance.
