On Wednesday 16 October the Impact Acceleration Accounts (IAAs) for both the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) will host an on-campus event in the East Building to support applicants applying to the latest round of Open Calls.
Networking lunch
The networking lunch taking place 12.15-13.30 will provide you with an opportunity to meet and talk with:
- Research staff across other faculties and departments interested applying to the IAA open calls to accelerate impact from their research
- Colleagues with impact-related roles in the Department of Research and Innovation Services, including representatives from the Impact, KE and Business Partnerships, Pre-Award, Contracts, Technology Transfer and Public Engagement teams.
- Colleagues across faculties/schools and departments with roles focused on supporting research impact and knowledge exchange. Attendees of the lunch are also welcome to join any of the afternoon sessions that support their applications for funding to accelerate impact from research.
Information event
The Information event will run from 13:30 to 15:30 with ‘Lightning talks’ on:
- KE and Impact funding opportunities @ Bath
- How to use a ‘logic model’ to support your application
- Introduction to costing projects in PAM
- Introduction to Intellectual Property (IP)
There will also be an opportunity to sign up to one of the 1-2-1 meetings with members of the IAA Teams to discuss your open call application and ask any questions.
