Being the Convocation member on Council, I wanted to update you on what’s been a very busy six months.

As well as recruiting a new Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Ian H White FREng, we have also appointed a new Chair of Council, Pamela Chesters CBE. Find out more.

Both Professor White and Mrs Chesters will start officially on 8 April 2019 and we look forward to welcoming them.

New gym opening on campus

The new Team Bath Gym & Fitness Centre opens on 26 February. The two-tier extension will more than double the existing gym capacity at the Sports Training Village. Alumni can save ££s on gym and classes. Find out more >>

Fed Cup: GB win on home soil

Thousands of tennis fans came to campus for the Fed Cup this month – the first tie to be held in the UK for 26 years. Victory completed a perfect four days for the GB team, as they won all four of their ties here in Bath. Read more >>
