Over 1,000 Masters and PhD students will graduate from the University this week at our Winter Graduation Ceremonies, along with a number of well-known faces who will receive Honorary Degrees.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, Bath students will mark the end of their studies at the celebratory event, taking place at the Assembly Rooms.

As part of graduation celebrations, we will also be awarding Honorary Degrees to: Ajaz Ahmed MBE; Peter Hitjitevi Katjavivi; Dr Brian Nicholson; Anya Shrubsole; Steve Tompkins; and Marcus Trescothick.

University Chancellor, HRH The Earl of Wessex, will be in attendance for ceremonies 1 and 2 on Tuesday.

Commenting, Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Bernie Morley said: “Congratulations to everyone receiving degree certificates from the University of Bath this week.

“Graduation ceremonies represent the successful culmination of a great deal of hard work and effort and mark a very special moment for all those involved.

“We look forward to celebrating with students and their families and in welcoming a stellar list of new honorary graduates to our University community.”
