As plans progress for the summer and the 2020/21 academic year, some facilities around campus are beginning to reopen, with safety measures in place and in line with Government guidelines. This announcement will be updated as things change, so please check back regularly to keep up to date with what's happening on campus.

Safety measures around campus

Retail Outlets and Catering

Thanks to the hard work of our colleagues, Fresh has remained open throughout lockdown, as well as the Lime Tree, where we are still offering students free takeaway meals.

We also recently announced the opening of The Hut, a new takeaway food and drink option on campus, serving hot drinks, snacks and confectionery by the lake.

Team Bath

Our Sports Training Village and most outdoor sporting facilities currently remain closed to students, staff and the public. However, the outdoor tennis courts are available to book in one-hour slots from 9am-8pm on weekdays and 10am-2pm on Saturdays. The Team Bath fitness team are also continuing to stream live exercise classes as part of an online fitness timetable, which also includes yoga sessions and home workout demonstrations.

Some elite athletes and coaches have returned to training in line with the latest government advice.

The Library

Online Library services are continuing, see their news pages for more information. Although the main Library building remains closed, there are now a small number of PCs available in the foyer of the Library for those students who may not have computer access otherwise. These are spaced well apart, in line with government advice. There will also be two multi-functional printers available in this area.

The Edge

The Edge cafe and gallery remain closed, however there is a host of online events, activities and resources available to staff, students and the public. Please note that from Friday 3 July Dance and Wellbeing classes will be temporarily suspended for the summer break. Visit The Edge Arts website for more information.
