Jules Pipe, Deputy Mayor of London for Planning, Regeneration and Skills, and Baroness Royall of Blaisdon will join University of Bath staff, alumni, partners and friends to open the centre at an event later this morning.

This is an important step for implementing the University’s Strategy as our Pall Mall base will create a platform for engagement with Whitehall and Westminster on major public policy challenges.

It will also support interaction with senior stakeholders in commerce and industry and enable us to offer our successful Executive Education programmes in the capital.

We want to be seen as a first port of call for these organisations to share new thinking, develop research ideas, or partner with us on executive programmes, seminars, workshops and breakfast briefings.

Our new centre will enable people across the University better to engage with individuals and organisations in London. It will enhance our place as one of the UK’s leading universities for research, teaching and learning.

I’d encourage anyone who is interested in using these facilities to take a look at our web pages and get in touch.
