Our new Academic Writing Cafés are exclusively for postgraduate students, enabling them to enhance their academic writing skills and connect with peers across different courses.

In these welcoming, peer-led sessions, students will join a group of their choice to discuss an aspect academic writing. Whether it’s getting over writer’s block, crafting literature reviews, or improving criticality, there's a group for everyone. The Cafés are designed to foster a sense of community, allowing students to learn from each other, share best practice, and meet new people.

The aim is to provide a supportive space for students to discuss their writing approaches and gain confidence before putting pen to paper.

We're encouraging students to register early to ensure they don't miss out on this chance to improve their writing skills and build connections with fellow students. There are numerous Writing Cafés taking place this academic year, and students are welcome to book on to as many as they like.
