Eligibility criteria

Both professorial and non-professorial academic staff members of the Academic Assembly are eligible to stand as candidates.

Call for nominations

I now invite nominations for five Professors to serve on Senate for a period of three years commencing on 1 August 2022. Vacancies for two Professors from the Faculty of Engineering and Design and one Professor from the School of Management will be filled before the remaining two vacancies are filled by the remaining candidates who have the most votes from any Faculty/School.

I now invite nominations for five non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Assembly to serve on Senate for a period of three years commencing on 1 August 2022. Vacancies for one member from the Faculty of Science and two members from the School of Management will be filled before the remaining two vacancies are filled by the remaining candidates who have the most votes from any Faculty/School.

Nominations

A valid nomination must consist of e-mails from a proposer and a seconder confirming their nominee and an e-mail from the candidate declaring their willingness to serve if elected. Candidates may self-nominate but require a separate proposer and seconder, both of whom must be eligible to vote.

Candidates should submit a supporting statement of not more than 150 words for circulation with the voting information if an election is required. Please include the title and Faculty/School of the nominee. Nominations must reach the Governance Office governance@bath.ac.uk not later than 12 noon on Thursday 27 January 2022.
